Pingree Does Not Support Second Amendment

Can anyone answer for me why it is that the Attorney General of the State of Maine, and Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, and Mike Michaud all signed a brief supporting the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, and Representative Pingree chose not to? Does she not feel that citizens can be trusted with providing for their own defense? To share your 2 cents, visit the forums here. Free registration required.

Maine AG supports the Second Ammendment

The Maine AG has signed an amicus brief that states that the Second Ammendment applies to states and municipalities.  This brief has been submitted in regards to the current case of the NRA vs. Chicago.  This is a positive thing for us, of course, and AG Janet Mills deserves to hear that we support her opinion in this matter.  Please take a moment to follow the link below, and give her a call, or send her an email, thanking her for standing up for the Second Ammendment.
